Message from Bidyottam

This site is dedicated to the memory of Shankar Basumallick, my uncle, who inspired me to look at the world through the camera lens, encouraged me to look at the wonders of nature that are easy to overlook. I have tried to live that philosophy in my photography, trying to capture the grandscale scenic vistas at sunsets or sunrise to the heart of a tulip or a rose. Any amount of success I achieve in that, I know would have made him happy and proud.
