Message from Nick Paoni
I am a photographer based in Encinitas, California. My images have been published by National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer Magazine and Encinitas Magazine. They have also appeared on the San Diego Audubon Society Website and Facebook page. While I enjoy several genres, one of my favorites is surf photography, which I use to help raise money for the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
My work is heavily influenced by these principals:
1. There is no bad light.
2. Don't photograph a subject, photograph about a subject.
3. Show viewers something they know in a way they have not seen before.
