I read your page about macro and insects. Something I find very exciting, like you said.. it's like hunting big game. I only have a point and shoot camera, so I get very frustrated. But with patience, sometimes I get some pretty decent shots. One day I hope to get some shots like you have in your galleries. (some day I'll get a decent camera as well) Thanks for taking the time to write out your tips, it really taught me a lot! Tammy

Amazing close ups.The detail and colours are incredible. I've been trying my hand at insect photography. Nowhere near as successfully. But I will keep persevering.

Great photos Mark. Sharp and great exposure. One question, From experience I can see you were quite close to the "models". Other than patience and being in the right place at the right time what tips can you pass along in regard to "capturing" similar images.
