This flight of 8 locks (lower center of the image) is framed by Canada’s stately Parliament buildings (upper left)
and the majestic Chateau Laurier Hotel (right side). This is the largest single set of locks on the entire
Rideau system, providing a lift of 24 m (79 ft.).
