The 170th camp of my Photo Odyssey and fifth photo stop of its fifth winter tour, which we spent in the US state of Texas, was at Kerrville in the part of the state known as Hill Country, a region known for its scenery, full of hills and rivers that are uncharacteristic to the rest of Texas. Photos in this gallery are from the area around and within an hour’s drive of Kerrville.

Unfortunately, the day after our arrival here the weather turned cloudy and we only had periods in two or three afternoons when we had any sun and never had a sunrise, just overcast dawns, and the last few days were cold and rainy, so since those conditions are not what I like to shoot under, I ended up taking only a small fraction of the photos I normally would have.
