I see not many folks stop to say thank you. I am in a large, but not very proud group. Thank you. Please keep the knowledge flowing. Even to a large batch of dolts.

John, it is always a pleasure to see your photos. I hope that you are well. I was exchanging notes with a brat this week - he was posted to the flight line at Wittering in May 67, but he told me that he cannot remember the names of anyone he worked with, Best regards, Stuart

Hi John
I was wondering if anyone from your group would be able to offer a ride to your field trips for a gentleman who has suffered a stroke and is unable to drive a car. He loves photography and would really ejoy being part of a group but can't get around as well as he once could. He can take the bus etc. but going any distance is obviously a barrier because he doesn't drive. Pls email me if you can help. He is a very talented man. Thanks my email is beckerj@cmhagrb.on.ca Thanking you in advance for your consideration

Hello John,
Where do you live? My wife and I are originally from Stoney Creek and Hamilton, now living in Duncan, on Vancouver Island. Did you take the tour through the old Ball homestead? Some friends and we did one Thanksgiving Day when they have a big open air market/display. The young lady guiding us pointed out the picture of the last of the Ball family who never married and the property was then willed to the District. She said his name was Manley. My buddy and I kept a straight face. Our wives giggled like school girls. (60 years of age!)

Hi John!

I saw a post of yours over at dpreview and came over to look at your gallery. Very nice images. You have a nice touch for composition, color, and lighting.

By the way, I have a UZI (Olympus C-2100) as well. I don't use it now that I have a Nikon D200 but always loved the UZI. It took great pictures.

You've proven the awesome capibilities of the Canon EOS 300D, which I before doubted. I love the safari photographs, they're excellent, to put it mildly. You have a lot of talent!

Hi John. I've browsed around and found there are many great shots in all your galleries.
I especially like 'local images' as this is what I'm doing, though your work is a lot better. Those shots on animals are just awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Dear John

It seems as though us ex-brats all turn to the wicked ways of the digital camera. Poor old Kodak, they'll go bust.

Well done mate
