Hi Frank,
Thanks for visiting my galleries and taking the time to leave a comment. I've been looking through you galleries and like the landscape shots, but my favorites are the portrait shots. You clearly have a great talent for portraits. They are exceptional.
Regards,
Jim

Frank,
As a long time friend and admirer of your photography, I am really impressed with the selection and variety of your collection. We would like to purchase one of your photos for our new home decor. One question, do you have, or could you write a poem to be added to the print? It will be for our 25th Wedding anniversary. Looking forward to seeing you. Joyce and Perry

Frank, The Grandfather Mountain photo looks great! Almost froze to death taking the shot. But, as you said, it was warmer down there where you took the shot. I think digital is the way to go.

What's next in Digital?? Do they have cameras with 6 MP now? Where can I get a Nikon digital camera in South Florida with 6 megapixels and how much are they?

Frank, it is always a pleasure to return to your galleries. Seems I find something new each time that I hadn't noticed before. Being a nature freek myself, your Hickory Falls is very inspirational. Keep Clickin' my friend.

Hi, Frank!

Finally got a chance to peruse your gallery. You've got some really stunning photos. Let me know if you'd be interested in selling me a copy of City Chaos (our anniversary is coming up 2/24) and what sizes you can make available.

Thanks,

Mary

Frank, Everytime I visit your galleries it is a learning experience for me. Your musings gallery especially. Macro has always been my favorite and I hope the coming seasons will give me the opportunity to express some of what I have learned from my visits here. Thanks again for sharing your talent with others.

Dear Frank,...We have a 1962 acrylic painting called....Stalking the Prey...Are you from the Jicarilla Apache Tribe?????.. If so,the painting is of a cougar in a tree...ready to pounce on 2,five point buck deer....Probably purchased in 1965...By our grandparents...Paul and Goldie Sprengel...Not sure if it is acryilic or not....Has your signature and date on it...Please contact us so we can talk about this painting....Thank You....Lou, Vicki, and Lucas Degaetano....P.S.....We think they bought it in South Dakota or Alberbaquerqe ,N.M.....

Hi Frank...Recently you left a message at my galleries. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for your kind words. I've been inactive at pbase over the last few months but hopefully I will get some new work posted soon. I'm glad you left a note because I got a chance to view your work which is really great. You have a great eye for composition and color. And your technical ability is something I hope to work on. I'll check back to see what new work you post for the fall.
Regards, Gail

Frank
very nice photos
Do you use a tripod on most of your shots - like the chillipepper one? or the fish (look at my eyes) one?
Also, you use aperture priority most of the time - do you also then control the exposure time? (using the manual function rather than the aperture priority only)?
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos

John:

You asked if all the photos were from my CP4500 on my site (www.pbase.com/poetrunner/photo_musings). The answer is, "most of them." There are some in the beginning of the Photo Musings gallery that were shot with my 995. I then purchased the 4500 and about 3/4 of the way through the Photo Musings Gallery, as well as all of the Tropical Fantasy and August 2002 series, are from my new 4500. In most of my photos, the exif data will show you which was which. Thanks for stopping bye.

Regards,

Frank

Frank,

I read your comments on the Panasonic/Leica digital camera vs. the Nikon CoolPix 4500.
Are these photos from your Nikon?

Thanks,

John
