Ever since I received a Kodak Starflash camera when I was about 8, I have loved recording images. (That dates me!) Now here we are in the 21st century and it's amazing how digital photography has allowed millions of people to realise a talent they didn't know they had! I enter the occasional photographic competition and am blown away by the standard of the entries from all age groups. I learn so much from looking through the galleries on PBase and am very appreciative of the comments I receive from other photographers re my own efforts. The internet has allowed us to share and learn from each other, no matter how amateur or professional we are. It's great to chat to folk all over the planet.. another opportunity to enhance our lives!!
