I'm leaving Pbase after 15 years of support and moved to Flickr Pro for $49 a year with Unlimited storage. It works well with all platforms, easy for User and Viewer to use, etc. Pbase technical support doesn't seem to exist, at least on the rare occasions I ask for it, and that means after a few emails to support, and waiting a month or more with NO response. Plus, that's just trying to have things fixed that used to work before. Hoping their new hardware update does well! It's really been needed for years.
For what I have uploaded now on Flickr, I'd have to pay $200 on Pbase instead of $49 per year on Flickr for Unlimited storage. I like just swiping my finger across the screen on smart phones to view photos, or scrolling through an Album quickly. Try that in Pbase on your smart phone or computer. Hope that is one of the future update on Pbase too as well as Apps as Flickr has for all Smart phones.
I'm not trying to sell Flickr, but trying to understand why Pbase is not adjusting with the changing times, but instead, reduces support and provides limited capability. It was very enjoyable being a member these past 15 years with a great bunch of photographers. But, time and technology moves along, and Pbase hasn't been keeping up. Wish you all well.
