Just wanted to say thanks for providing these nice detailed pictures with proper scientific names listed, they have been invaluable in id-ing some of my more troublesome specimens for a plant taxonomy class.

Craig, thanks to Sharon, I found your photos. I have truly enjoyed them. I know you are elated to be free to roam the wilds of Arkansas and capture the fanastic waterfalls and flowers. Keep roaming and snapping. I appreciate your sharing your work.

Craig,

I am creating a pocket field guide of rare, threatened, and endangered species in West Virginia. This guide will be distributed to forest workers with the intention of raising awareness about species at risk in the State, and promoting compliance with federal laws and regulations. It will contain images and detailed descriptions for each species.
I found two pictures in your gallery that I am interested in using in the field guide. I am writing you with the hope that you may be able to grant me permission to use these images. If you have any questions regarding the project please feel free to ask.

The details of the images I am interested in are listed below:

Two images of Parnassia grandifolia, Large leaf grass-of-Parnassus, photographed by Craig Fraiser

Your help is greatly appreciated,

Sincerely,

Alayna Howard,

Craig, You have a wonderful gift that allows you not only to see the beauty of the flowers but to capture it at its finest so that others of us have an opportunity to share the experience. Your work is fabulous and I thank you for sharing it.

Craig,
I posted a comment elsewhere about my photos of Pinnacle Mt. St. Park photos. You might be interested to know that I also post those photos to Flickr as MGShannonC. They're geotagged, so you can find them that way, too. We'd love to have you post your photos to the Arkansas Wildflowers Flickr pool in your spare time. :-)

Craig - one of the best galleries I have seen for some time - includes my favourite subjects of clouds and wild flowers! When you do your slide show, you have too many to pick from. Stay with that Oly 8080 - it allows you to see what is in the background so that you can eliminate fussy bits - a Reflex when focusing a max. aperture puts these fussy bits out of focus so you can't see them until after the exposure. Your approach is far better than many professionals that I know. Well done.....Peter
