A 'ghost' sign on the wall of Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, seen on 30 May 2015. Originally dating from 1777-80 the mill (first owned by (Sir) Richard Arkwright) is believed to be the first cotton mill in the world to use a steam engine. Although the base of the original mill survives, the upper floors have since been rebuilt.
