A little about me.
I took up photography about 1979 armed with my first SLR,
It was an East German Praktica with a standard 50mm lens.
I learned as much as I could from reading photography magazines and going out trying everything out with the camera, until I understood every thing about apertures and depth of field etc.
Through the years I have upgraded my cameras.
In early 2001 approx I started out in digital photography. I use Nikon's D70,D80 and a D90.
My main interests in photography are sport, landscapes and people.
I am based in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders region.
